Found you through a link in HerBadMother actually and thought your blog deserved a read. How ironic that you got your wish to be in the NYT only to have it be so controversial! Even if we don't agree on some things I understand that you had a job to do and your opinion (and blog) is important! And an enjoyable read! Best of luck and I wish you lots more success!

As I type this, I am sitting atop the summit of Mt. Everest, under a flag of the United States of America that is stuck in the ice. A smaller banner sits to my left. It reads simply, "Clever Title TK Rules the World." It was my idea to bring this second flag, and even though we lost two members of the expedition because of it (the heavy quilting material proved to be a drag), I am still proud to see it fly here atop the world's highest peak.

I'm running out of oxygen, so can't write much longer. Congrats on your blog efforts this year!

I did not know Jennifer on January 3 2009, though there were rumors of her existence. I found her and her blog only recently, via Twitter. I think it's a terrific, funny thoughtful blog and I very much enjoy visiting it and reading of her adventures. I think she not only deserves booze, but also chocolate cake. I did not know you on January 3rd! And yet here I am, a newish (but devoted) reader. Loyal as an old dog, judges, and I haven't been coerced into saying so by a promised portion of the liquid winnings. Not that I would turn away such a portion. Waste not, want not.

Anyhow, I am glad you commented on my website and led me here. You have been awfully kind to me the last few months, and a girl can never have too many online friends. TK, by the way is one of my very favorite phrases.

Let me be the first... wait I'm not the first. Anyway, let me proclaim to all that I am addicted to this blog. I was not offered money or fancy drinks to give this testimony. While I did know you on Jan. 3, 2009 (so perhaps this precludes me from counting toward your goal?) I have certainly become a loyal reader of Clever Title TK. Which for me says a lot, because this is basically the one and only blog in my Google Reader that's not directly related to what brought me to blogging in the first place--infertility and child loss. You, my friend, are the one and only fertile mama with no dead babies among my list of regularly-read writers! Surely that alone deserves some booze. At the very least, a toast.

I'm impressed by the accomplishments you achieved last year, even if they weren't exactly what you expected they're certainly noteworthy and I enjoyed hearing about them and being reminded of why I started writing again in 2008. It IS amazing therapy, and a heck of a lot less expensive than involving analysts and docs!

I hope you hear from some of your lurkers so that you can claim that well-earned bottle of booze.
